But during your engagement party, you’re peppered with questions: when’s the date?, have you found a venue?, who’s invited?…
Your anxiety sets in as it hits you
— You have to plan a wedding.
One thing's for certain — you want to create an experience for your guests unlike anything they've encountered before. And because of that, you've decided to get married in one of your favorite places: Colorful Colorado.
But between your busy work schedule and trying to maintain a social life, it feels nearly impossible to find the time to plan a wedding. Let alone a destination wedding where you know no vendors and don’t have a clue how much everything costs.
It's all too much to handle alone.
It's time to take a big sigh of relief. Because you don't have to do this alone.
From the personalized welcome bag placed in your guests' room before they arrive. To the stunning gondola ride up the mountain to your ceremony. To the day-after brunch where everyone can relive all of the weekend's memories...
We also have one underlying goal — to create an unforgettable experience for your guests.
But over the course of our 12-years of designing and planning full-scale weddings and events, we know that planning an unforgettable experience can be stressful. That's why, our first step to making you feel at ease — and in turn, trusting us to design and plan a wedding that's a reflection of you — is to listen.
As your creative partner, we want to be an advocate for you on this journey. That's why we're hands-on from the very beginning to the very end. And we want to truly understand your vision so that we can bring it to fruition.
Let's embark on a beautiful journey. Together.
Planning from afar can be stressful, but Kelly and Brittany were so organized and great at communicating. Both of them were so on top of it and made sure everything was flawless for both of us, our families and guests.

It’s hard to conceptualize how many moving parts there are to planning a wedding — especially if you’ve never planned one yourself.
Part of our job as both designer and planner is to help alleviate the stresses that come with wedding planning. (And to give you back the 500+ hours it usually takes to plan a wedding!)
Instead of sending you a 25-page document with the nuts and bolts of what we do at KKWE, let's schedule a call so we can get to know one another. This call sets the foundation of the work we'll do together. And gives us the opportunity to answer all of the questions you may have (hopefully before you even have to ask.)
We aim to create a seamless experience by breaking things down into phases. Starting with:
We'll put a soft hold on your date. About a week later, once you've had some time to review your proposal with the important decision makers, we'll simply check-in to see if we have the honor of helping you style and plan your wedding.
We aim to create a seamless experience by breaking things down into phases.
When my husband and I were first engaged, we knew we wanted a Vail wedding, but had some concerns about planning from afar (we live in NY). Kelly and her team immediately put us at ease. From our initial conversation to the day of our wedding, Kelly was the glue behind the scenes holding it all together and ensuring that everything was seamless.

There are so many moments on a wedding day that really speak to us:
The first look between you and your partner. Or, the choice to stay traditional and save that moment for right before you say “I do”…
The affirmation of knowing we nailed your style by seeing the look on you and your guests’ faces when they enter the room...
Seeing you and your family gather together, and the love you all share for one another...
Kelly and her team are some of the most professional wedding vendors we’ve ever known, period. We’ve watched Kelly and her staff go the extra mile (sometimes literally) in circumstances in which most planners would’ve just shrugged and thrown in the towel. They aspire to make every one of their couples’ wedding vision come true down to the smallest of details, and they nail it every single time.

Where do you envision getting married in Colorado? Perhaps it’s on a ranch with your ceremony backdrop overlooking the snow capped mountains and canvas tents for your guests to glamp in under the stars. Perhaps it’s in a quaint chapel in the heart of town with an outdoor tented reception to follow. Perhaps it’s in […]
Three Peaks Ranch is a stunning ranch and wedding venue in Westcliffe, Colorado. With 360 degree views of mountains including three very distinct peaks (hence the name), this venue is secluded, inclusive, and sure to make your day one of a kind! We caught up with Daylene Wilkins, Co-Owner of Three Peaks Ranch to talk […]
The past two weeks, we have been fearful, reluctant, and quite frankly we’ve stuck our heads in the sand waiting for the high tide to pass. We watched wedding dates be postponed. We watched our industry scramble, then stumble, but as always find their footing and embrace the unknown. The past two weeks have been […]
