1. 1. KKWE: Tell us a little bit about yourself and your business?

Naomi Robles: In my industry, it’s all about listening to my bride, understanding her needs, focusing on her inspiration and collaborating to create her vision. As a Makeup Artist and Stylist, it’s my job to help enhance the story of the wedding day… What’s the mood? The lighting? The color palette? What statement does she want to say the moment she walks down the aisle? It’s more than just liner and lipstick, it’s important to understand who the bride is, enhance her best qualities, showcase her beauty, guide the eyes of her audience exactly where we want them and capture perfection in person and on camera. To be honest, it’s quite simple… Every bride is beautiful and I love hearing every single love story.

2. KKWE: When you’re working on a wedding or event, how do you usually interact with other vendors? What is your experience working with wedding planners?

Naomi Robles: In the wedding industry, we are like a production team family. Game-day aka wedding day, it’s all about two important details, the BRIDE & GROOM. Everyone is working above and beyond to ensure the perfect day for the couple. When I have the opportunity to work with repeat vendors we have so much to catch up on and when I meet new friends, it’s like we’ve known each other for years!

3. KKWE: How would you describe your style or aesthetic?

Naomi Robles: It’s important for me to enhance the beauty of individuality. When you’re authentic and unique, you’re embodying the most valuable currency . . . Confidence. This allows for timeless, classic style that will be cherished for a lifetime.

4. KKWE: What or who inspires you in life and in your work?

Naomi Robles: Over the last +12 years in the beauty industry, I’ve met some of the most amazing women, ALL walks of life and what inspires me more than anything in this world is WOMEN. We have the power to move mountains while balancing it all with grace and precision.

5. KKWE: How would you describe your creative process?

Naomi Robles: Collaborative. It’s about finding a balance between my brides’ wedding day look and who she is. That’s a powerful place to stand as an artist. Brides want to look and feel like their everyday self on their wedding, but also want to look and feel like the best version of the themselves, the collaboration is key to a successful creative process.

6. KKWE: What’s your favorite way to unwind?

Naomi Robles: I’m a problem solver even when I don’t have a makeup brush in my hand–I’m a rock climber, self-made chef, creator, entrepreneur, and love making memories!

7. KKWE: If you weren’t a Makeup Artist & Stylist, what would you want to do?

Naomi Robles: I would be a personal trainer, hands down!
