Real Wedding | Stephanie and Kelly, Omaha, Nebraska

Stephanie is a local gal {Edwards, CO} that found us via the web and word of mouth. She and I instantly connected when we realized that we had a mutual love for the East Coast and of course, New England Sports. Our team had the opportunity to plan their engagement party in Edwards, CO and with the success of that event, we stepped in and planned their wedding… but here’s the twist on the wedding plans, Stephanie and Kelly were having their wedding in Omaha, NE and because of the relationship and trust we developed with this awesome couple, they asked us to help guide them in the planning process. Of course we wanted to help, but we had to be very transparent about Taylor {Lead Wedding Planner} being pregnant and wouldn’t be able to fly during the time of their wedding and I was going to be traveling internationally. Stephanie didn’t think twice about what we said, she trusted us enough and felt she couldn’t work with anyone else but us, even if it meant we couldn’t be there. She wanted an amazing experience, a great party and a memorable night for her and Kelly that will never be forgotten. So, we talked things through, came up with a game plan and they signed the contract in November 2012, and it was full speed ahead for {3} months. Taylor worked day in and day out with Stephanie, created an inspiration board that she and Stephanie dissected until it was perfect! She designed her tables capes, created a very detailed diagram of the venue, communicated with all the vendors involved on a daily/weekly basis. During this three months, I had time to watch this evolve and watched Taylor make this brides dreams come true. I must say, I’ve always had confidence that our planning processes have been really effective, but it really became clear to me that we had finally reached our pinnacle moment of how refined our systems are. As we got closer to the week of the wedding, Taylor walked Stephanie and Kelly through the final stages of our planning process, instructed the entire team involved in the wedding on what needed to happen to make this a memorable experience for Stephanie and Kelly. It was awesome!! So you ask, how did we pull off this amazing day without being there? Excellent Communication, Client Trust and Planning Experience. I want to give a huge thank you to Taylor, our lead planner, our team in Nebraska from the venue coordinators, the florists, the photographer, the band, the videographer, hair and makeup, rental team and the officiant! You all are truly some of the most amazing vendors we have ever worked with.
