Spring is here and it’s out with the cold and in with the bold. Spring bridal styles rarely disappoint, but this year, it seems designers have raised the fashion-forward bar yet another notch. Some styles are on point and others are, well… interesting. No matter what your taste, we love to see what these creative enthusiasts have brought to the runway for what is sure to be a thrilling Spring wedding season.
The Fashion-Forward Bride:
This Ralph & Russo design is nothing short of divine. If you are looking for a dress that will accentuate a sensuous collarbone, this is the one for you. Pair statement earrings, diamond bracelets, and a sheer dramatic veil to create a look that will leave guests in awe.
The Princess Bride:
One common complaint about a princess-style dress is that you run the risk of looking like a cupcake. But, Zuhair Murad is known for his familiarity with the female form and a princess dress designed by Murad is a princess dress fit for a Queen. We are in love with this sweetheart-shaped neckline and capped sleeves. It is modern bride from the waist up and pure classic from the waist down.
The OMG Bride:
Don’t worry, that’s an illusion neckline holding together what looks like a barely-there blazer. Even though it’s not for everyone, we have to applaud Stephane Rolland for pushing the envelope and creating a design that tows the line between daywear and high bridal fashion.
The Glam Bride:
It is hard to look at this Zuhair Murad dress without evoking some image of Grace Kelly or January Jones in Mad Men. This is pure sophistication with a modern glamorous twist. Pair with a set of long elbow-length gloves to finish this already flawless look.
The Executive Bride:
For a no-nonsense look with a trendy peplum flare, Zuhair Murad creates a sophisticated style like we’ve never seen before. The plunging neckline is pure elegance while the blazer inspired top screams “woman in power”.
The Confused Bride:
Chanel, we love you… but really? Courtney Love already got married. There are no words for this haute mess.
