In the wedding industry, bundling gifts together offers a warm welcome to everyone involved on a wedding day. From the Bride and Groom to family and friends, our clients are filled with joy when they receive their personalized gifts. For the past few years, we have had the delight to work with Owner and Lead, Wesley Brown of Bundles Gift Co. Their precisely crafted gifts are exceptional and we encourage you to continue reading below to learn more about their passion.
- 1. KKWE: Tell us a little bit about yourself and Bundles Gift Co.?
Wesley Brown: I started Bundles just before the 2013 Holiday season and truly had no idea what I was doing. My background is in hotel management and I would see these gorgeous gifts come through our front office every time we had a wedding in-house. I would kind of peak inside the gifts, curious about what goodies everyone was receiving, and sometimes my jaw would drop and other times I thought “hey, this could look better”. After getting married myself over the summer in 2013 I decided to leave the hotel business and start my own custom gifting studio. I knew that I could create beautiful gifts for these global travelers that would excite them upon arrival and also make them comfortable at the high altitude in Vail Valley and Aspen. At first I started by only carrying Colorado-Made products which was great but also a bit limiting. So I decided to expand my offerings to mom and pop shops from all around the USA. I have met so many makers and I am inspired by all of them. I love that I can bring their products to an audience that might possibly have never seen their company.
As my business continues to grow I find myself in awe when I think of where we started and where we are now. We started with cellophane, moderately interesting products, and the same styles you would have seen on any Pinterest page. Now we have been published in Martha Stewart, The Knot, and Brides.com and are known for innovating the gifting scene and creating custom bags/boxes that you can’t order anywhere else. I have also designed the one-of-a-kind Altitude Kit which I am truly proud of! It is hard work making your own product. I have so much appreciation for all of these makers around the country! They make my business go round.

2. KKWE: When you’re working on a wedding or event, how do you usually interact with the other vendors? What is your experience working with Kelly Karli Weddings and Events?
Wesley Brown: My work flow usually always starts with an email – Clients, wedding planners, vendors, etc., I find that email is normally the best way to get ahold of everyone. With smartphones we are always connected.
I adore working with Kelly Karli and her team! They are always on their A game and truly do a wonderful job connecting me to their clients. I feel that it is the wedding planner’s job to help their bride make decisions and boost their confidence, and I can tell you all of KKWE’s brides are informed and don’t seem stressed at all. I know this is because of her team’s knowledge and support that they offer to every client! And my first gift bag that was done with the KKWE Team was actually published on Brides.com! YAY!
3. KKWE: How would you describe your style and aesthetic?
Wesley Brown: I love all things white and modern.

4. KKWE: What or who inspires you in life and in your work?
Wesley Brown: In my work, I am constantly inspired by all of the makers that I carry. They create incredibly beautiful products and have built these companies from scratch. Keep Makin’! You are all are incredible!
In my life, my husband. I have never met anyone with such hunger for knowledge. He is a cinematographer/editor/drone pilot/chef/carpenter/computer genius/artist and he only wants to know/do more. We both work out of our home and sometimes I have to remind him to turn off work-mode and come hang out with me.
5. KKWE: How would you describe your creative process?
Wesley Brown: My creative process starts with getting to know my client and their taste and style, which leads me to my gifting recommendations. If you don’t know your client then you won’t have an easy time pleasing them. So I find it is important to know what your own style is, but even more importantly to know your client’s.

6. KKWE: What’s your favorite way to unwind?
Wesley Brown: Making dinner for a group of friends with a glass of wine in my hand, my cattle dog at my feet, and my husband at my side.
7. KKWE: If you weren’t a Bundlina, what would you want to be?
Wesley Brown: I would want to be a philanthropist. In today’s world it is hard not to see the increased separation between the rich and the poor, and I wish there was something I could do to make this work a bit more fair.
